There are lots of ways to volunteer with Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity, and we're here to help you find what best fits your availability, your skills, and your interests.
Construction Volunteers
Construction volunteers build Tuesdays through Saturdays, 8:30-4:30 p.m. No experience is necessary, and all training and tools are provided on site. Individuals and groups are welcome. All volunteers must be age 16 or older. To sign up, visit our Volunteer Calendar.
ReStore Volunteers
ReStore and Tool Library volunteers work half- or full-day shifts, Mondays through Saturdays. No experience needed. For more information about voluntering at the ReStore, visit the ReStore Volunteer webpage.
Office Volunteers
Work in our affiliate office answering phones, greeting visitors, entering data, and helping with mailings. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other common computer programs is recommended. For more information, contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
Administrative Volunteers
Volunteers serve on our Board of Directors and our Committees, including Family Selection, Family Support, Finance, and Development. If you have special skills or experience that you'd like to offer our Board or one of our committees, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
Creative Volunteers
These are volunteers who:
- make and deliver lunch to volunteer groups on our construction site
- take photographs at special events such as groundbreaking ceremonies
- provide their graphic design or other artistic talents to benefit Santa Fe Habitat
- offer their unique skills and talents to enhance others' volunteer experiences
