Santa Fe Habitat is Recruiting AmeriCorps Members
Do you want to learn construction skills? Do you want to learn how to lead volunteers? Do you want to learn about serving families in need? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of families and volunteers?
Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity offers to teach you all of these things as you gain experience serving the community with AmeriCorps. We are accepting applications for AmeriCorps Members to serve 1700 hours over 46.5 weeks of service beginning in September, 2012. We are recruiting members to serve on our construction site.
Candidates should be age 18 and above and have completed high school or the GED. AmeriCorps members receive a living allowance of $12,100, education award of $5,500 upon completion of the service year, health benefits and childcare benefits if eligible.
