Habitat New Mexico Celebrates the Completion of 600 Homes

In honor of the completion of 600 Habitat for Humanity homes in New Mexico, we are having two celebrations on February 3rd.
At 1:00pm we will have a ceremony at the Roundhouse in the Rotunda. We will host Governor Susana Martinez and honor Debby Montoya and Humberto Mendoza, the 600th house homeowners.
At 4:00pm we will celebrate the Dedication of Debby and Humberto's new home located at 7252 Vuelta de la Luz.

Groundbreaking Ceremony

You are invited to share in the excitement as we break ground on the homes for Claudia Diaz and Annette Sena and their families. The ceremony will take place at 7284 Avenida El Nido in Tierra Contenta. We hope you can join us in celebrating a new beginning for these families.

Dedication for Tina Redondo

Please join us in celebrating the house Dedication for Tina Redondo and her two daughters. Like all Partner Families, Tina helped build her own house. But she didn't stop there: while working toward her own Sweat Equity requirements, Tina also volunteered on the Women Build project as a regular volunteer. To date, Tina and her family have volunteered over 630 hours of sweat equity!
Please join us on Saturday, October 22 at 11 a.m. to help Tina and her daughters celebrate life in their new house.

House Dedication Ceremony for Kate Zmeskal

The dedication of a house represents not only its completion as a physical structure, but also the moment in which the house enters its transition into a home for a Habitat partner family. The Habitat community plays an important role in marking and celebrating this transition with the Partner Family.

Please join us in celebrating the completion of Partner Family Katie Zmeskal's house on Saturday, October 8th, at 11 a.m. If you've never attended one of our house dedications, you're in for something special. This dedication will also celebrate the 180 women volunteers who helped build Katie's house by participating in Women Build 2011.

Light refreshments will be served.

Women Build Kickoff Event

Join us on Friday, May 6 as we kickoff and celebrate the beginning of the Women Build House. Bring your hammer because we will be framing that day. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Karen Taylor to sign up for this event. This home is built by women supervisors and women volunteers only.
